Workshop to create the entries of 'A Small Tree in the East' series
'A Small Tree in the East' is the perfect entry into the world of preserved nature art. It's aesthetically pleasing and accommodative to a variety of your creative styles.
We will share thoughts on our own creative process, share knowledge regarding bonsai aesthetics and give tips on handcrafting. And we will guide you through the process as you make your own piece.
The pictures are the previous pieces of the 'A Small Tree in the East' series that we had done in the past, they are for illustration purposes.
By all means, you don't have to follow their style, the goal of the workshop is sharing the basic techniques, shortly before you taking the driver's seat to create, based on your own aesthetics.
What will you create?
- You will be re-creating one piece of Slow Green's signature designs - 'A Small Tree in the East'
- You can design your own piece on the spot, and choose at will accordingly the particular branches, leaves, petals, moss and flowers to make it a reality
- The workshop is friendly to kids above 10 years old
- Materials and tools all provided, including:
- at least 10 pieces of stones, slabs or ceramic pots for base
- at least 10 tree branches
- at least 5 types of petals for main feature and 2 types of leaves for supporting features

- Duration: 90 minutes (~20-30 minutes explanation + 60 minutes guided hands-on)

What is the cost ?
- SGD 85 PER PIECE PER PERSON. Each person is able to work on his/her own piece, unfortunately multiple people cannot work on the same piece

The prices cover the material costs needed for making one piece of 'A Small Tree in the East' as illustrated in the photos
- More add-on features/items, e.g. 'Journeyman', 'Spirit Lanterns' etc. are available with top-up, to be chosen on the spot
Can I cancel or reschedule ?
- We will simply provide full refund, or reschedule your session to another date, if you cancel or change date, prior to 72 hours before the start of the workshop
- Regrettably, we will only be able to provide 50% refund, if you cancel or change date within 72 hours before the start of the workshop
